TERMS OF CONDITIONS

Purchase

When ordering over the Internet, a purchase agreement is only established when SWEDX AB has confirmed the order to the Customer. Confirmation usually happens within 24 hours after the order has been received. After Friday, holiday eve, and holidays, confirmation will be done by 18.00 on the next working day.

Order Validity:

Orders placed online are valid when an order confirmation has been received by the customer. Order confirmation is sent via email. When ordering by fax or letter, the corresponding order confirmation is sent in writing or by email. By placing an order, the buyer agrees to SWEDX’s terms of sale. An order is valid until the product is canceled and SWEDX has notified the customer in writing (via email) that the order is canceled.

Ordering and Shipping costs

Ordering: When placing an order with us, you can choose from the following delivery options:

  1. Express order: This delivery method gets your goods within 2-4 weeks from the order date. This option is optimal for those who want their goods faster.
  2. Standard order: With this option, your goods are delivered between 8-10 weeks after the order date. This is a good choice if you can wait a bit longer but get the products at a lower price.

Your choice of ordering method will affect when you can expect to receive your order. If you need your goods within a specific timeframe or have special delivery needs, please contact us at [email protected].

Shipping Cost

The cost of shipping varies depending on the chosen delivery method, the size of the order, and the delivery address. The exact shipping cost will be specified at checkout before you complete your order. Be aware that Express delivery may result in higher shipping costs due to faster delivery times.

We collaborate with several reliable shipping companies to ensure your order is delivered securely and efficiently. Tracking information will be provided once your order has been shipped, so you can monitor your delivery in real-time.

Unclaimed Packages

If a package is not collected by the customer within the specified timeframe and is returned to us as unclaimed, a fee will apply. The fee for unclaimed packages is 15% of the original shipping cost. Customers should note that only partial refunds will be made for orders containing unclaimed packages. The refunded amount will be the total cost of the order minus the added fee for unclaimed packages.

We strongly recommend that customers closely monitor the delivery status and collect their packages on time to avoid unnecessary additional fees.

Right of Withdrawal

Individuals (Only applies to mail order/online sales)

SWEDX adheres to the rules of the Swedish Consumer Sales Act and the Distance Contract Act regarding the right of withdrawal. As a consumer, you have a 14-day withdrawal right from the time you received the product.

The product should be returned complete, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as it was delivered.

Goods can be returned by post or in person.

The customer is responsible for any return postage.

There are no exceptions to the withdrawal right for our products.

When products are returned under the right of withdrawal, they should be sent back in their original packaging with all accessories in the same condition as when received. If the product or parts are missing upon return, it may extend the processing time. The customer pays for the return shipping cost. When the return is correctly made according to the Consumer Sales Act, the full price of the product is refunded, excluding initial shipping costs. Refunds are made the day after receiving the returned product, however, always within 30 days.

Business

For sales to customers who are not individuals, the Sales Law applies (Köplagen).

Warranty

General Warranty: All products from SWEDX are sold with a 1-year warranty.

Reduced warranty cor Commercial Use: For LCD/LED TVs (which are not intended for digital signage) used in commercial contexts, a warranty of only 3 months applies.

Examination fee: If a customer invokes the warranty and the submitted product, upon examination, does not show any fault, the customer will be charged an examination fee of SEK 650 incl. VAT, plus any shipping costs.

Corporate Responsibility: When invoking the warranty for sales to businesses (not individuals), the customer is responsible for sending the product to SWEDX’s service department.

Original packaging: All products claimed under warranty must be returned in their original packaging along with all parts and accessories that came with the receipt of the product.

Right of Complaint

General Provisions: According to the Consumer Purchase Act, you have the right to complain about defects in a product up to 3 years after the purchase date, provided that the purchase was made after April 1, 2005.

Burden of Proof: If a defect occurs within 6 months of the purchase date, it is generally assumed that the defect existed at the time of purchase unless the seller can prove otherwise. After this 6-month period, the responsibility lies with the buyer to show that the defect existed at the time of purchase. For products purchased after May 1, 2022, defects in a product are assumed to be original within 24 months unless the seller can prove otherwise.

If a product is defective (regarding transport damage, see below), you should complain to SWEDX AB within a reasonable time and in a certain way return the product. You should carefully examine all products upon receipt to ensure they are defect-free and function properly.

When making a complaint, you should contact SWEDX AB’s customer service, and provide order or invoice number and reason for the complaint to get a return number and a prepaid shipping label for returning the product (only applies in Sweden). The purpose of the return number is to facilitate identification and administration of the return of the product.

Please note that obtaining a return number and shipping label is not equivalent to an approved complaint. Using the return number obtained from SWEDX AB, the product should be sent to SWEDX AB within 14 days from the notification of the return number.

Returns should preferably be sent back in the original packaging or other packaging suitable for the product. Any transport damages due to insufficient packaging will be charged to you as the customer. SWEDX AB checks/tests the submitted products according to your fault description, hence it’s beneficial if it’s as detailed as possible. If the product is found to be fault-free or if the fault is not covered by the warranty or the right of complaint, a fee will be charged to cover SWEDX AB’s costs for the return, and SEK 650 incl. VAT as an examination fee.

Transport damage should be reported no later than 7 days after receipt to the shipping company and to SWEDX AB via email: [email protected]. If one or more packages appear damaged (scratches, holes, and even minor damages), even if you believe the contents are undamaged, then you should ensure it is reported to the shipping company’s personnel who deliver and ensure the personnel notes the damage(s) before acknowledging receipt of the delivery. If the package appears undamaged and you still discover damage only after you opened the package, you immediately complain to the shipping company and SWEDX.

Exceptions: The right to complain does not apply if the fault is due to normal wear or misuse. In these cases, you as the buyer bear any repair costs.

Examination fee: If the fault is self-inflicted or if we cannot identify any fault, we will charge an examination fee. This fee is currently set at SEK 650.

Liability in Case of Fault

Action in Case of Fault: If a product delivered by SWEDX AB proves to be defective, SWEDX AB undertakes to rectify the fault within a reasonable time and at its own expense. This can be done through repair, redelivery, or refund of the purchase price, provided it does not entail significant inconvenience or disproportionately high costs for SWEDX AB.

Limitation of Liability: SWEDX AB’s liability for defective goods is limited to the measures mentioned above and to what is stated in the Consumer Purchase Act (1990:932). SWEDX AB bears no responsibility, either directly or indirectly, for example, but not limited to, compatibility issues, delivery delays, harmful properties of the goods, product liability, loss of income, operational disruptions, lost information, extra work, or other financial damages that may arise due to the product.
